Santa Cyclocross
Overview
Santa Cyclocross is our annual club confined CX event. Hosted at Linlithgow Leisure Centre every December. Keep an eye on the Events Calendar and on social media for exact dates and details.
We have a range of races to suit all ages and abilities. The racing kicks off with our youngest riders and we move through the morning on to the older categories.
For the adults we usually run two races, the first will be aimed at novice riders and is a great opportunity for anyone to come along and try out cyclocross racing. This event if firmly focused on the fun element and as such the race will have no medals, you just have the kudos of taking part.
The second race is the official Santa Cross race this race is where those who want to take it a bit more serious can race but the emphasis is still on having fun. Even though it is the more focused race we still expect participants to get into the festive spirit those taking it too seriously might be penalised!
For both races getting into the spirit and showing your festive spirit is actively encouraged so dig out your finest festive outfits and get ready to join in the fun. Your position on the grid may be defined by the level of Christmas spirit you bring with you.
